This classroom experience is 4 hrs in length and is provided in conjunction with the Getting Started clinic at Hungry Valley Vehicle Recreation Area. The aim is to offer instruction in the concepts, equipment, theory and safe operating procedures involved in the art of off-road operations. This class will benefit beginning to intermediate self-taught individuals who’s trail skills are already firmly in place. |

Summer School is the class room portion only of the Getting Started Clinic and does not include the behind-the-wheel instruction of the Getting Started Clinic. Here is a list of items we will cover: Off Road Vehicles, How 4WD Works, Driving Technique, Safety, Pre Run Check, Survival & Peace of Mind Kits, Options & Accessories, Getting Unstuck / Winching, Post Trip maintenance, Trail Etiquette & Tread Lightly. This class does not address vehicle build-up options and issues. |
