On our first day, we did Fins & Things, a trail rated 4 out of 10, experiencing steep slickrock climbs and descents. We all had a blast, even Sam who broke his drive shaft. But not to worry, Moab has mechanics on a 24/7 schedule this week!

On our second day we did ”Hells Revenge”, a trail rated 6 out of 10; dangerously steep climbs and descents over sandstone domes. This was a high anxiety day. However, now that we made it out safe, we would all do it again and again.

On our third day we did “Metal Masher” a trail rated 6 out of 10. Challenging route over barren slickrock requiring drivers to find the best line over some difficult rock steps. Tom prepared us well for this trail with his advanced off roading classes.

Album: Moab Day 4: 3/21/2008 - Gold Bar Rim Trail
Thursday was a free day for us, then back on the trail Friday. On fourth trail was Gold Bar Rim rated 5 out of 10. This was a nice pace after the two previous days of rated 6 trails. Again, beautiful scenery as we climbed the slickrock steps.
