It is fairly easy to make an eye. You need to do it the right way to maintain the strength of the synthetic line.<\/li>\n<li>The key for strength is learning how to taper the splice<\/li>\n<li>The class is hands on using the recommended Class II procedures from Samson Rope for a 12-strand rope.<\/li>\n<li>We will investigate the use of the Brummel knot as an alternative to cross stitching.<\/li>\n<li>The use of a thimble will be discussed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a 12-stand rope that had broken bring it to class with you.
