There are only 12 10L Red cans in the warehouse. I am not the only one who can order from that stock so if you want one or a few, order right now. Once they are gone, It will be several month before a new cargo box arrives. 11-21-23
These are the real deal and are now legal again. These cans do not leak! They are the ones I recommend. However, the penalty we have to pay to get these cans again is that every can must come with a CARB approved spout. That adds about $30 dollars to the can. Still worth it. I have cans built during WWII that still hold gasoline and do not leak. (I am not that old. I bought them surplus.)

The cans come in 3 sizes – 20L, 10L, & 5L. The 20 liter can holds 5.3 gallons. At a minimum you need to take 2 of the 20L cans for most remote 4-wheeling trips. I like to have a couple more (in total enough to fill my tank at least once) in the garage in case of an emergency. The 10 Liter holds just over 2.6 gallons. They are handy for lawn mowers, generators, and to loan to a friend who ran out of gas. The 10L is a nice size for short road trips when you just want a the comfort of a bit of backup. You know – the time when you passed up a gas station thinking another one would be just up the road and it was closed. The 5 liter is cute and would work for the lawn mower, generator, etc. but I don’t own one. Storage space is always a problem and I would prefer one larger can to several smaller ones. A steel can holder is also available. It has predrilled holes for mounting and the can can be locked into the holder.
